TheOdd1sOut is an American Youtuber who started his animation career by posting comics online, specifically Tumblr. When he was in school, he was not like the other kids in his class. James Rallison did not go out partying and he never have anything to do with sports or anything close to being athletic. Instead he sat in class all daydreaming and turning those dreams in comics. His comics range from stories about his past, with family and friends whether the memories were good or bad, to comics out how to help yourself out of a bad situation.

It has been over 8 years since he first released his comic strip and it took a long time for him to get any recognition for his work. However, he worked very hard for many years and has given up many opportunities to follow his dream. Now he owns a successful YouTube channel named TheOdd1sOut with over 9 million subscribers.

Much like Jame’s name, his channel, comic strips and sense of humour are a little on the odd side and he is certainly not to everyone’s taste. With themes ranging from politics, romance, mental health, parenting, family and friends and life in general and his comics usually end up having an unexpected twist in the end. This keeps the reader keen, excited and wondering where the next panel will take them. Even though James Rallison is mainly preoccupied with his YouTube channel, he still finds time to post web comic strips onto tumblr and other social media platforms. Ever since turning to YouTube, he has posted animations and his first animation being posted on 30th August 2014 and now has 6,331,067 views and 104k likes. For an animator with Youtubes current standard, those statistics are amazing and is one of the animators lucky enough to still be able to use YouTube as their main or full time job.
